Project overview
We worked with TreeStory in early 2021 to create a super efficient, low carbon website designed to fully reflect the ethos of their organisation.
Like Wholegrain, TreeStory started out as the passion project of husband and wife team, Gordon and Sonia Brown. TreeStory’s vision of building a truly sustainable rural industry by creating, expanding and protecting Scottish woodland, is also closely aligned with our own sustainability ambitions and we’re honored to be part of their story.

Super efficient website
We were initially approached by TreeStory’s designer, Cycle Studio, who sought our help to translate their designs – complimented by stunning photography from Robert C Brady – into a future-proof website.
Cycle approached us to help them develop a low-carbon website that was high in performance and light in code.
Translating designs into a future-proof website
Following a preliminary meeting with our Director Vineeta to understand TreeStory’s needs and expectations, our project team worked closely with Cycle Studio.
Our Project Manager David helped to clarify what we needed in terms of design to make sure our developer Gary could create a high performing, eco-friendly website.
Modular page layout
Once the designs were agreed upon, our Gary brought them to life by coding an easy-to-manage website made with flexible blocks that allow the TreeStory team to update the site themselves as they evolve and add new projects.
