Putting Ben’s Cookies on the Map
Ben’s cookies was born in 1983. Originally a stall in Oxford’s covered market, it was the brainchild of cookery writer and self-confessed chocoholic Helge Rubenstein.
Inspired by her son, Ben, the cookies she created were simply made and freshly baked. Today, Ben’s cookies retains this same approach at stores across the UK and around the world.
We were approached by Ben’s Cookies to help them create a fresh new website, with added functionality.
As well as optimising the new website to increase the number of site visits, they also needed to update their store locator so that visitors could search for nearby stores wherever they are in the world.
WordPress Theme Modification
Using an existing WordPress theme, we developed a website that reflected the simple approach that Ben’s Cookies was founded on.
To improve the store locator functionality, we used the Advanced Store Locator plugin and made some additional style changes to allow users to search for local stores using their current location.
